I grew up in a suburban Boston family eating processed food. It wasn’t until I met my college boyfriend that I learned that all food wasn’t quite what I was raised to eat. It’s been a long journey of food discoveries and for that I am grateful. My favorite thing is comfort food, but it can’t just be any comfort food. I like to make an ordinary everyday dish such as meatloaf into something utterly extraordinary.
In the past couple years,
I have thrown myself full tilt back into the world of food. I often gather friends around my dining room table on Saturday evenings to eat. My family has escaped that requirement since they remain scattered around Boston.
I hope if you have found your way here that you enjoy this food musing. And if you have thoughts or questions, please, I would love to hear them.
Love your musings, Betsy.
